Article Processing Charges (APC)

The Journal of Future applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover the costs associated with the editorial process, peer review, production, and online publication of articles. We ensure fair, transparent, and ethical publication practices in accordance with international standards.

1. Publication Fee and Coverage

The Article Processing Charge is:

200,000 UZS

per accepted article

What the APC Covers:
The publication fee is a one-time payment that includes the following services:

  • Editorial handling and manuscript management.
  • Double-blind peer review process.
  • Plagiarism check.
  • Technical editing and formatting.
  • Online publication of the article.
  • Assignment of a DOI via Crossref.
  • Long-term digital archiving and indexing support.

2. Payment Terms and Conditions

No Submission Fee:
The Journal of Future does not charge any submission fee. Authors may submit their manuscripts completely free of charge. The APC is only required after the manuscript has successfully passed peer review and has been accepted for publication.

Payment Process:

  • Payment is requested only after the final acceptance of the manuscript.
  • Authors will receive an official notification and invoice.
  • Publication and DOI assignment will proceed only after payment confirmation.

3. Waivers and Refund Policy

Waiver Policy:
The journal may provide full or partial APC waivers in specific cases, such as authors from low-income countries, exceptionally high-quality manuscripts, or invited papers for special issues. Waiver requests must be submitted to the editorial office prior to or during the review process.

Refund Policy:
The APC is non-refundable once the article has been accepted and processed for publication.

⚖️ Transparency and Editorial Independence

The journal is strictly committed to transparency in publication fees. The payment of the APC does not influence editorial decisions. The acceptance of manuscripts is based solely on scientific quality, originality, peer review outcomes, and relevance to the journal's scope.
