The Journal of Future is committed to ensuring clarity, transparency, and compliance with international standards in matters of copyright and licensing. We ensure that both authors and users clearly understand their rights and responsibilities regarding published content.

1. Copyright Ownership and Licensing

Copyright Ownership:
Authors retain full copyright of their published work. By submitting a manuscript to the journal, authors confirm that the work is original, does not infringe any existing copyright, and that they have the legal right to grant publication rights.

License to Publish:
Upon acceptance of the manuscript, authors grant the Journal of Future a non-exclusive license to publish, reproduce, and distribute the article, identify itself as the original publisher, and archive the article in electronic databases.

Open Access License:
All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This allows free access, distribution, reuse, adaptation, and commercial use of the content, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the source.

2. Author Rights and Self-Archiving

Author Rights: Authors have the right to:

  • Share and distribute their published article freely.
  • Deposit the article in institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic networks.
  • Use the article in future works such as books, lectures, or teaching materials.
  • Reuse figures, tables, and data from their own work without restriction.

Self-Archiving: Authors are permitted to archive preprint versions, accepted manuscripts, and the final published version (Version of Record), provided that proper citation to the original publication in the journal is included.

3. Third-Party Content and Attribution

Third-Party Content:
Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to use any third-party material (e.g., figures, tables, images) that is not covered by fair use or public domain. Proper acknowledgment must be provided for all such materials.

Attribution Requirement: Any reuse of the published content must clearly include the Author(s) name(s), Article title, Journal name (Journal of Future), DOI (if available), and a Link to the CC BY license.

Infringement Policy: If any copyright violation is identified, the journal will investigate the claim promptly, contact the authors and relevant parties, and take appropriate action, including the correction or complete removal of the content if necessary.

International Standards: The Journal of Future rigorously aligns its copyright policy with international publishing standards and the requirements of DOAJ and other major indexing databases.
